My Father and My Mother: An Essay on Topic My Father and My Mother

My Father and My Mother: An Essay on Topic My Father and My MotherAn essay on topic my father and my mother will be extremely difficult to write. It's not that they are not great people but there is more to them than just blood. There is a lot of history involved and that's why I wrote this essay, to share that part of my past with you.My father had a job at an auto repair shop in suburban New Jersey and he taught himself how to fix an automobile and if you think about it, he didn't need to know much about the mechanics of a car because he was already familiar with the system. His career was very flexible. He had a daughter who would follow him around the garage all day cleaning the mechanics, washing the paint, painting the dashboards, etc.My mother had an interesting background. She was a nurse but for a brief period she was a teacher and then a secretary. She had only two years of college, but she worked very hard. The reason she got so well-known as a teacher was because she work ed with a teacher for several years to create a teaching methodology which she could use in her own classes. When we talk about careers in life, we often focus on one aspect of our lives. I'm sure that for many of you, your parents are your role models but for me, the one aspect of my life that is mostly important is my father. My dad always saw into the future and used his mind to achieve that goal. He wanted to have a better life, more money, a better house, and he wanted to start his own business. When he retired from his job, he took us and left the family home for a couple of years to find out what was waiting for him. He would buy a new car and spend all the money he had saved to buy a house. When he finished the job that he had given up, he left his wife, children, and moved to live in a trailer park in Georgia where he would start his new life. Now that I think about it, the concept of an essay on topic my father and my mother may not make much sense to you but that's the point , I want to make you realize that we really do have life lessons in our past. We learn a lot of things in life that allow us to succeed. My father never got to see what he was doing to help other people like he wanted to but he still had all the advantages of those times. He gave a lot of his hard earned money for helping others and when he was gone, so were we. Life is very dynamic and everything happens in such a fast pace that sometimes you have to step back and slow down and take a look at your life and figure out what you really want and then figure out a way to get it.
